Your Alarm Installation Timeline
We’re looking forward to protecting you and your loved ones 24/7. Please read the below helpful tips to prepare for your installation date. Don’t worry, it’s straightforward and we’ll be here to help every step of the way.
It's important that you're at home and available on the day of your install. As our Security Advisor (SA) will do a risk assessment of your home and discuss where to place each alarm component.
Ahead of your installation, we’ll contact you via email, SMS and over the phone to check in with you.

Confirmation Email
We’ll send you a confirmation email with your alarm pricing details and helpful tips.

Payment Link
We’ll SMS you (or email if you’d prefer) with a secure payment link so that you can pay for your alarm installation fee ahead of your installation date.

Register Account
We’ll send you a My Pages confirmation email. Simply confirm and register your account. You’ll need your account number to do so. This will be in your order confirmation email.

Set up Account
Don’t forget to set up your My Pages account. Here you can manage your keyholders, verifications words and even remotely see the status of your alarm (after it’s installed). Once you set up your initial details, our security advisor will go through the rest with you on the day of install.

Installation Confirmation Call
5 days before your install you’ll receive a installation confirmation call from our booking team. Only if your installation is booked 5 working days or more after the date of your sales call.

Confirmation Text
You’ll receive a confirmation text reminding you of your install the next day and that our security advisor will call you 60 minutes beforehand.

Welcome Email
You’ll receive a welcome email with our customer brochure to familiarise yourself with our products.
Note, you'll need to be at your home for the duration of the installation.

1 Hour Notice
Our Security Advisor (SA) will call you 60 minutes prior to arriving at your home. If you aren’t home or if you haven't nominated a person to be home to approve everything for you (you can do this via My Pages), we won’t be able to install your alarm.

Risk Assessment
The SA will do a risk assessment of your home and discuss all our alarm products and where to place them in your home. Note if you’re eligible to have video products installed, they’ll be installed on a separate day. You’ll need to make a new SA booking, simply call us.

Keyholders
The SA will set up your keyholders with you in My Pages. Please have the contact details of your chosen keyholders ahead of the install day.
When your alarm activates, we will contact you and if we can’t reach you, we contact your chosen keyholders. Keyholders are your neighbours, friends or family members.
Keyholders must:
- Be able to attend your property within 30 minutes
- Know how to operate the alarm system
- Know your verification words and alarm
- Have a correct set of keys

Verification Words
The SA will set up your verification words. When your alarm activates, we use verification words to ensure we are speaking to the correct person.
There are two verification words and you select both:
(1) The PhoneWatch verification word is used to identify ourselves to you. (i.e., so that you know it’s us calling).
(2) Your verification word is used to identify yourself to us (i.e., so that we know it’s you we're calling).

Demonstration
The SA will show you how to arm and disarm your alarm using the keypad, keytags and app.
They’ll review your alarm installation assessment receipt and get you to sign and give you a copy, along with a welcome pack, which includes an alarm user manual, a handy quick arm card and refer a friend leaflet.

Digital Confirmation
You’ll receive an email with a digital confirmation of all the alarm components installed and the pricing.

Invoice
You’ll receive an email with your invoice

Review
You’ll receive an SMS to rate the service of your Security Advisor from 1 to 6 (1 is very poor and 6 is excellent).

Trustpilot
You’ll receive an email to rate us on Trustpilot from 1 to 5, (1 is very poor and 5 is excellent).
